About us

Crooked Dice specialise in wargames rules and miniatures inspired by the many and varied iconic worlds of 60s-70s Cult TV.

Crooked Dice is owned and run by Karl Perrotton – a graphic designer by trade and a geek by birth, with an unhealthy interest in old sci-fi TV and miniature gaming which seemed a frankly ludicrous combination for setting up Crooked Dice.

Crooked Dice is small but perfectly formed. It’s a family operation – so Anna and Karl run the webstore and mail order. Our output is small and perfectly formed – running the creative end from our secret underground bunker.

Our games designers

Karl is lead designer and writes, design and produce our 7TV rules. But we also work with a range of creative freelancers to support the growing rules range. These include: Glenn Allan, Conor Dwyer, Helena Nash and Dr Peter Wright.

Our casters

Our white metal casting is thanks to the miracle workers at Griffin Moulds (Jane, Rob and Lisa). Resin casting is manufactured by Martyn Dorey and Tom at Model Display Products and Ainsty Castings.

Special thanks to Jeremy Mahieu for his support (emotional and digital) of STL files and management of our My Mini Factory store.

Our sculptors

Special thanks must go to the amazing sculptors who have brought the 7TV world to life:

Ari Níelsson, Jo Brumby, Martin Buck, Mark Evans, George Fairlamb, Shane Hoyle, Matthew Kent, Andrew Maclachlan, Andrew May, Steve McGuire, Neil Mckenzie, Iain Cowell, Iain Andrew Gonzalez, Ian Mountain, Andrew Rae, Greg Storey, Bill Thornhill, Ernst Veingart, Kev Adams and Kev White.

For dazzling brushwork, we need to thank: Jon Atter, Simon Bradley, Kev Dallimore, Mark Dixon, Mystic Spirals and Andrew Taylor.
